Drug Discovery Database
Table 1 lists drugs screened using our two-stage phenotype-based assays in scn1Lab (Dravet syndrome) mutant zebrafish.
Drugs indicated in YELLOW are positive hits e.g., suppression of spontaneous seizures in both the locomotion behavioral (stage 1) and EEG (stage 2) assays. Duplicates or triplicates are included if they were screened from multiple libraries. All drugs listed are from commercially available libraries.
Antiseizure medications (ASMs) are indicated in bold font.
Full details of our screening process and results can be found in peer-reviewed lab publications (Baraban et al. Nat. Neurosci. 2013; Dinday and Baraban, eNeuro 2016; Griffin et al. Brain 2017; Griffin et al. Front. Pharmacol 2018; Griffin et al. Brain Comm. 2019).
Screening was performed by Matthew Dinday, Kyla Hamling, Mana Anvar and Aliesha Griffin.
